Getting there from Ireland

There are various ways by which travel to the venue.

The closest airport is Marseille Provence Airport or Aéroport de Marseille Provence which is located 27 km (17 miles) northwest of Marseilles. There is direct and easy access onto the motorway, so no need to drive through the city. The drive to the venue is uncomplicated and takes around 45 minutes. Car hire from a variety of different companies is available at the airport.

RyanAir operate a direct flight from Dublin to Marseilles on Fridays and Mondays.

Aer lingus operate a direct flight from Dublin to Marseilles on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. A good option if you plan to stay a bit longer.

For those of you who intend to explore the Côte d'Azur and the French Riviera, EasyJet operate a direct flight from Belfast to Nice (it's a 2 and half hour drive from Nice to Lourmarin).

You can of course fly via London where there are several daily flights.

Another option is to fly to Paris CDG (there are direct flights from Belfast with EasyJet). From the airport you can take the TGV (train à grande vitesse or high speed trainto Avignon. The TGV station is conveniently located within the CDG airport (no need to go into the city). The train takes 2 hours 40 minutes to reach Avignon TGV station.

The train is very comfortable, you can stretch out, walk around, enjoy a petite déjeuner whilst taking in the French countryside or have a snooze before reaching your destination. From Avignon TGV it is a scenic 45 minute drive to Lourmarin and you can hire cars from the station*.
*Note when booking a car that it is from Avignon TGV not Avignon Central.
